Joseph Peter Weber, Jr., 88, Bradenton, died March 6, 2013. Born in Mattoon, Illinois he started wintering in Bradenton in 1986 and became a permanent resident in 1996 from Jackson, Michigan. A Veteran of the US Navy during World War II, he attended the University of Illinois majoring as in Electrical Engineering and worked for Dana Corp for forty years in Management. He was a member of the Oneco United Methodist Church, American Legion, ELKS, Golf Lakes Singing Men, a Board Member of the Campfire Girls, and an Elder in the Methodist Church. Survived by wife of 67 years, Uldine of Bradenton, FL; daughters, Judith Ann Weber-Lucas of Baltimore, MD, Marsha Diane (Lee) Piper of Jackson, MI, Denise Elaine (Ray) Ridley of Monpazier, France; sister, Virginia Dolce of Mattoon, IL; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
