James W. Roberts, 81, of Bradenton died March 10, 2011. Mr. Roberts was born May 25, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan and came here in 1998 from Garden City, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserve and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Michigan. He was predeceased by his daughter Susan Rigney. He is survived by his wife Naomi of Bradenton, son Lee Rigney of Bradenton, daughter Kristy L. Hickson of Livonia, Michigan, sisters Judy Beatty of Boca Raton, Fla. and Dorothy Hockwater of Bradenton and six grandchildren, Jessica Rigney, Josh Rigney, Matt Moser, Jenna Hickson, Reed Hickson and Alexis Hickson, all of Michigan.
