James “Bob” Beal, 82, Bradenton, Fl., passed away January 26, 2012. He was born on April 14, 1929 in Manito, Illinois to the late John & Etta (Murphy) Beal. He was reared in the Manito and Green Valley, IL. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and was a retired iron worker and building contractor in Il and U.S. Virgin Islands. Bob lived in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands for over 20 years before moving to Bradenton in 1999. He was the last of eleven children, and is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Bonnie of Bradenton, three sons; Richard (Kathy) of Pekin, IL, Keith (Mary) of Green Valley, IL, Kim (Kay) of Concord, AR, three daughters; Vicky (Bill) Ostrom of Hemphill, TX, Cindy (Ed) Baker of Green Valley, IL, Tammy (Rick) Feilner of Bedford, IN, two step-sons; Chris Chiapusio of Charlotte, NC, Scott Chiapusio of Plantation, Fl., thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
