Irving P. Cooper, 92, Bradenton, died August 30, 2013. Born in Newark, NY, he moved to Bradenton in 1977 from Auburn, NY. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving as a Paratrooper with the 503rd Infantry during WWII, district manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance, a member of BPOE 1511, and Past Exalted Ruler of the Manasota Lodge. He was a Little League coach, an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. His happiest moments were with his family. Predeceased by wife, Marjorie; survived by wife, Laura of Bradenton, FL; son Dan (Mechele) of Belgrade Lakes, ME; daughters, Pat (Howard) Veltz of Bradenton, FL and Kathy (Mark) Zema of South Portland, ME; grandchildren, Rachel, Matthew, Gwendolyn, Erica, Sarah, Kegan, and Katie; great grandchildren, Owen, Jayda, Liam, Zoe, Kaden and Raylen.
