Henry Dewey Myers, Jr., 72, Bradenton, died May 20, 2012.
A Lifelong resident of Bradenton, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, retired after 20 years as a Sergeant 1st class, serving from 1958-1978 through the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he received the Bronze Star Medal with ''V'' device & with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Purple Heart with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster.
He was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, VFW Post 10141, DAV, and American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24.
Survived by wife Janice, of Bradenton, FL; sons Steven (Marla) of Grand Cayman Island, Scott of Bradenton, FL, Michael (Stacy) of North Port, FL; brothers, Leon, Wayne, and Charles; sisters, Betty Barfield, Charlene Logue, Linda Fruggiero, and Ann Burdette; grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, Daniel, Allison, Cassidy, Loranie, and Ralph.
