Daniel Dennis

Daniel S. Dennis, Jr., 87, Bradenton, passed away July 21, 2012. Daniel was born on April 14, 1925 in Lancaster, PA to the late Daniel S. Sr. and Mary (Mahaffey) Dennis. He served with the U.S. Navy during WWII and Korea and moved to Bradenton in 1988. He was a retired State Farm Agent in Lancaster and a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bradenton. He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley in 1999, two brothers and one grandchild. He is survived by his loving wife Martha of Bradenton, two sons; Gary (Sara) Dennis of LaCanada, CA, Keith (Deborah) Dennis of Sarasota, three step-sons; Kem (Linda) Schneider of Phoenix, AZ, John (Jayne) Schneider of Stoneybrook, NY, Richard (Jane) Schneider of Muskegon, MI, five grandchildren;Daniel ''DR'' Dennis, John Dennis, James,Dennis, Jennifer ''Bright'' Mora,David Shaeffer, three great-grandchildren; Corky, Cody, and Duke Mora, four step-grandchildren; Arua Pappalla, Derek, Richard and Keith Schneider and three step-great-grandchildren; Leah, Kara and Mark Pappalla. 

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private at Palma Sola Cemetery.
