Bill D Keller passed away September 26, at 11:20 AM. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Evelyn; three sons and three daughters in law: Brad and Glenda, Craig and Terry, and Steve and Lori; five grandsons, Josh, Matt, Mike, Joel and Isaiah; two brothers, Jim, Paul, and a sister, Sharon along with one great-grand daughter on the way, Charlotte. Bill was reared in Humboldt, Kansas, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a Helicopter mechanic. Bill graduated from the University of Kansas as mechanical engineer and spent over 30 years in research for Amoco Oil; first in Whiting, Indiana, and the last as Director of Research in Naperville, Illinois. He retired to Florida over 20 years ago to enjoy family, some creative hobbies, golfing, fishing, stained glass, woodworking and traveling the world with Evelyn along with being an active part of the United Methodist Church in Bradenton, FL.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Monday, Sept 30, 2013 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel. Viewing from 3-4 with Services at 4PM Tuesday, Oct 1, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Bradenton.
