Alfred A. Jones, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Gladwin, Michigan, born June 1, 1922, went to be with his Lord May 7, 2012.
Al served as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army in Europe from 1942 to 1945. He was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. After the service, Al worked as an Iron Worker. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion, the Masons, Scottish Rite and the Shriners.
He leaves behind his wife, Betty Jones, his daughter, Geraldine Reaume, two granddaughters, Kelly and Stacy, seven great-grandchildren, his sister, Ruth Slope, and six step-children. He will be missed by all.
Funeral Information:
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday May 12, 2012 at American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24.
