Walter E. Perdue, Jr., 79, Anna Maria, died May 3, 2010. He was born Jan. 30, 1931 in Ridgewood, NJ and came to Florida from there in 1998. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, and owner for over 30 years of Perdue Sport Shop in Ridgewood. He attended Roser Memorial Church in Anna Maria.
Survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara of Anna Maria, son, Mitchell E. of Ridgewood, NJ, daughter, Beth (Thomas) Sontag of Ringwood, NJ, brother, William J. (Grace) of Plano, TX, sister, Jean deGruchy of Ridgewood, NJ and two grandsons.
Funeral Information:
Services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Roser Memorial Church. Memorials may be made to Roser Memorial Church Food Pantry, 512 Pine Ave., Anna Maria, Fl., 34216.
