Edna Juanita Mills, 79, Bradenton, died Aug 21, 2014. Born in FL she moved to Bradenton in 1963 from Lake Placid, FL. Juanita was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Placid, FL.
Predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Lucille Hartsfield; brothers, Marshall, Edward and Larry Hartsfield; survived by daughters, Lisa K. (Bud) Hammock and Keni Renee (Lisa Holloway) Robinson all of Bradenton, FL: brothers, Randy Hartsfield of Bradenton, FL an Gary R. Jowers of Lake Placid, FL; sister, Dorothy K. McPherson of Sebring, FL; grandson, Kenneth G. Robinson; and many nieces & nephews.

Marvin Ross Oberholtzer, 77, Bradenton, died August 19, 2014. Born in Clay City, IN he moved to Bradenton in 1991 from Kokomo, IN and was a member of Trailer Estates Covenant Church. He retired from AT&T in Kokomo, IN, he liked Blue Grass Music, NASCAR Racing, he played golf and most of all he loved his family.
Predeceased by his parents, Paul & Dorothy (Trimmer) Oberholtzer; brother, Melvin; sister Helen; granddaughter, Megan; survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth of Bradenton, FL; sons, Kevin Layne Oberholtzer of Kokomo, IN and Tracy Allen Oberholtzer of Russiaville, IN; daughter, Terri Jean Ellenberger of Holland, MI; brother, Dale (Denise) Oberholtzer of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren; Ross, Matthew, Tyler and Sam; many nieces and nephews.

Daniel David Ibasfalean, 73, died on Aug 17, 2014, at 6:15 AM of cancer at Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton. The son of Cleonic and Virginia Flock Ibasfalean, Dan was born on December 26, 1940, in Monroe, Michigan. He graduated from Manatee High School in 1959, Manatee Jr. College in 1962, and in 1971 from the University of Florida College of Architecture and Fine Arts with the degree of Bachelor of Architecture.
Dan served in the Seabees in Vietnam. He was an architect and general contractor in Bradenton, Cortez, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. He was a member of Roser Church in Anna Maria, FL, and served on the Board of Trustees.
He was predeceased by his sister, Olivia and his daughter, Jennifer. He leaves behind his wife, Bette; daughter, Amanda; sisters, Edna, Helen, and Mary; brothers, Glen, George, and John and their families. Dan also leaves behind his sweetheart of 54 years, Ginger Braune, and their dogs Heidi and Susie. A Memorial Service will be held on 2 pm Saturday, Aug 23, 2014 at Roser Chapel, 512 Pine Ave, Anna Maria, FL.

Richard M. Berger, 82, died Aug 16, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter, Mardel; son, Kenny; daughter, Michelle; step-daughter, Debra; step-sons, Paul & Edwin; 17 grandchildren & 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Kathy. Richard served in the US Army for 2 years.
Richard was a research and development engineer for 30 years in Lebanon, PA, retiring from Murray Steaks in 1998, having achieved many patents for the companies. Richard & Janet made their home in Bradenton in 1998, where Richard worked for Miller Trailers until Retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the ELKS Lodge 1511 for 21 years and the American Legion. He and Janet not only were life partners but also were dancing partners, winning many contests throughout the years in PA. They went on to teach other dancers. Richard also diligently worked on wood carving as a hobby, creating lovely plaques and sculptures for family & friends.

Gary A. Payne, 36, of Ellenton, FL and formerly of Raritan, NJ passed away suddenly August 16th, 2014 at home, in his sleep. He was a spiritual man and has entered the Kingdom with Our Father in Heaven.He was currently employed as a landscaper with AmeriPride of Clearwater, FL at the Colony Cove, Ellenton, FL location. As well, he has been employed as a HVAC technician at Cool-O-Matic, Manville, NJ prior to relocating to FL.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael William; aunt, Diane Payne-Birath; nana, Frances Belohlavek; grandfather, John David and his beloved Pop-Pop, Donald W. Martin. Gary leaves behind his loving family; mother, Lynnann, of Ellenton, FL; father, David, (Dian Kelly) of Plainfield, NJ; sister, Alicialynn Frances Skibbee of Bridgewater, NJ; Mom-Mom, Barbara Martin of Ellenton, FL; nana, Nellie Payne, Plainfield, NJ; aunt, Dawn Marie Pfeiffer; uncle, Robert Pfeiffer; cousins, Katrina Frances Pfeiffer and Courtney Noelle Pfeiffer of Bradenton, FL; aunt, Sally Ann Zdanowicz, of Bradenton, FL; cousins, Joshua Frye and Alexandria Lynn Frye of Kenosha, WI. Gary also leaves behind many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss him terribly.
Gary was a friend to many and was always making new friends, no matter where his travels may have lead him. He was kind hearted and a good friend to everyone he met. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad, David, they spent hundreds of hours together in the deer stands throughout NJ. Many hours were spent with dad rebuilding Mustangs and going to the racetrack. His love of the sport NASCAR and being glued to the History Channel was shared with his mom, Lynnann. As well as sharing the love of the beach with his mom and many friends.
He loved all his animals and rescued many in his short time here on earth. Whether it was a cat or a dog, even turtles, snakes, domesticated rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, each had a full belly and a warm home. His talents at salt water fish tanks can be compared to none. To Gary, every creature that breathes had a special place in his heart. Gary always wore a grin and wanted everyone to be happy in their lives. He was the family comedian and entertained our hearts and souls every day.
Music was an integral part of his life too as he always wore his ear buds. With his grandmother he could jam to country music. With his mom Lynnann, his sisters Ali and Dawn, he could rock n roll to John Eddie and attended many shows together. With his dad and his friends, he enjoyed Rap and heavy metal. Gary loved his family and everything family was held close to his heart.
He grew up with his aunt Dawn, whom he loved as his very own sister. His grandmother, Barbara (MomMom), who Gary called affectionately, Bobbie, has been his anchor to his family. He could not go very long without seeing and being with her.

Mildred (Millie) Rose Haas, 88, Bradenton, died August 15, 2014. Millie was born March 10, 1926 in Perrysburg, Ohio, the daughter of Everett A. Mahler and Bertha Pratt Mahler and came to Bradenton in August of 1960. She was a homemaker and mother of 12 children and a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sister, Doris Shiple and predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Hoffman, Virginia Twinning , Florence Trzeciak and Eileen Mahler. She was preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Bernard P. Haas and her son, Gregory E. Haas. Millie is survived by her children, Sandra K. Haas-Martens, Holmes Beach, Dale A. Haas, Sarasota, Gerald A. Haas, Ft. Myers, Mark E. Haas, Tampa, James J. Haas, Bradenton, Elaine M. Haas, Bradenton, Francis J. Haas, Bradenton, Douglas P. Haas, Palmetto, Cheryl A. Gonzales, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bonnie R. Haas-Cumber, Tampa, and Laura L. Cleveland, Scottsburg, Indiana, as well as, 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a rosary at 6:30 P.M. on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd St Chapel, 604 43rd St W, Bradenton, FL 34209. Eulogy 12:15PM with Mass 12:30PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 3100 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205. The burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
