The Bradenton Times Polls

Poll Question: Which of the following best describe how you feel about elementary school security?

We should have a county deputy in every school, even at an average cost of $144,00 each  We should spend the current $1 million budgeted on 7 roaming deputies  The budgeted funds should be spent on better securing the buildings; ie. security doors, lockdown switches, cameras, etc.  The funds should go to educational needs and any police presence should be a function of law enforcement in that community and its budget More polls »

The MS in CABH is designed to prepare students for work in fields pertaining to the assistance of children dealing with behavioral disabilities. Eligible jobs range from directors and managers in juvenile health agencies to counselors in schools and care programs. The CABH degree also trains those who wish to pursue doctoral education in public health and/or the social sciences.

USF’s unique program will focus on four major concentrations: Developmental Disabilities, Leadership in Child/Adolescent Behavioral Health, Translational Research and Evaluation, and Youth & Behavioral Health. The curriculum, which requires 39 total credit hours, features online and in-class lessons.

Students will have the option to choose among a range of core and elective courses designed to promote advancement in general knowledge, training in career-related research, leadership, and on-the-job experience.

Applications are currently open for those who wish to apply. The deadline is Feb. 15. Applicants are required to have a Bachelor’s or any graduate degree and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. For more information, visit cabh.cbcs.usf.edu.
