Movers and Shakers: We Care Manatee Appoints New Members to Board of Directors

BRADENTON – We Care Manatee – a non-profit organization committed to addressing the healthcare needs of low-income, uninsured residents – is pleased to announce the appointment of Bryan Boudreaux, Regions Bank; John Fain, Grapevine Communications Advertising Agency; Brad Laudicina, OD, The Eye Center; Tricia McKay Powers, Blake Medical Center; and Darlette Tice, RN, BSN, MPM, Manatee Memorial Hospital, to its board of directors.

 

Comprised of 15 leaders from the local medical, healthcare, insurance, legal, banking and accounting sectors, the board of directors governs all ongoing operations and helps promote the mission of We Care Manatee. Members of the board are elected to one-year terms and meet every other month to ensure the continued success of the organization. “It is always exciting to welcome new members to our board of directors,” said Jill Gass, Executive Director of We Care Manatee. “With each new perspective and unique approach to leadership, we are better equipped to move forward and make the decisions that best serve our community’s growing healthcare needs.”
