4th Annual United Way Bowling Tournament Returns July 12
$25 registration entitles players to three games, pizza & more
MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County Government invites the public to the 4th annual United Way Team Bowling Tournament on Saturday, July 12 at AMF Lanes. For a $25 entry fee, bowlers will receive three bowling games with shoe rental, pizza and soda.
The first place team will receive $350. Second place will receive $250 and third place wins $150. Men’s and women’s scratch game winners will also receive $50. Proceeds will benefit the United Way of Manatee County.
“Last year a little over 100 people came to this great event and we raised more than $1,800 for a great cause,” said event coordinator Mary Pendleton-Brown. “This is a great opportunity to have fun while supporting local agencies that instill a better quality of life in our community through the services they provide daily.”
Gift baskets donated by Manatee County employees and sponsors will also be raffled for suggested donations of $1 a ticket or six for $5.
Live musical entertainment will be provided by the Butch Castetter Band.
AMF Lanes is located at 4208 Cortez Road in Bradenton. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the tournament starts at 11 a.m.
