Earl Wayne Hoskins went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Wayne was born in Hedrick, IN on November 27, 1931 to Aaron and Lena (Claypool) Hoskins. He was the 5th child in a family of 9 siblings. The family later moved to La Porte County, IN where he attended schools in Union Township and Kingsbury graduating in 1949.
In August of 1952 Wayne married Barbara Bales of Kingsbury, IN. After serving two years in the U.S. Army they located in Kingsford Heights, IN where they lived with their four children until 1974. Wayne was then transferred with his employer, Woodruff & Sons, to Bradenton, FL where he worked as a surveyor until he retired in 2010 after 41 years with the company.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughters, Barbara Ann (Roger) Ketterman and Debra (Blair) Smith, both of Bradenton; son, Daniel (Karen) of Nashville, TN. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ryan (Monica) Ketterman of Jacksonville, FL, Summer (Leon) Mays and Rory Smith both of Bradenton, Tyler (Lindsay) Smith of Lakeland, FL, and Zachary and Parker Hoskins of Nashville, TN. Great grandchildren are Kyla, Kierra, Jaden, Isabel and Olivia. Wayne is survived by four sisters, Violet Wurtsbaugh, Vera Trim, Lorraine Bealor and Tola (Wayne) Haley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his son, David, his parents, brothers, Ronald, Glen and Rev. Ray Hoskins and one sister, Eileen Morgan.
Family Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, June 24th from 6-8 pm at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel on 43rd St. W. with Funeral Services being held on Wednesday, June 25th at 11:00am at First Church of the Nazarene where Wayne was a life-long member. Roberta C. Burdick, 77, Bradenton, died June 17, 2014. Born in Stratford, CT she moved to Bradenton in 2001 from Pittsburgh, PA and she was a member of the Red Hats.
Predeceased by parents, Robert and Clare (Miles) Carothers and step-son, Charles, III; survived by husband of 56 years, Charles of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Jennifer (Richard) Addotta of New Freedom, PA; brother, Miles Carothers of St. Petersburg, FL; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Janet Elizabeth Rich, 87, of Bradenton, went to Heaven June 15, 2014.
She was born on March 30, 1927 in Adrian, Michigan to the late Elwood J. & Fleta Bertine (Sayers) Rinehart. Janet, her husband and daughter Deborah moved to Bradenton in 1951 coming from Indianapolis, Indiana.
Janet and her husband Keith owned the Rinehart and Rich Pharmacy on 14th Street West in Bradenton for over 25 years, originally a joint venture with her parents. She and her husband were also the owners of Rich’s Beach Drugs on Holmes Beach for over 30 years.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, First Church of the Nazarene, and past member of Entre Nous in Bradenton.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Keith Rich of Bradenton, two dear daughters; Deborah Rich Bovinett of Bradenton, Jennifer Rich Rehl of Tampa and three precious grandchildren; Laura D’Angiolillo of Bradenton, Sarah Rehl and Blake Rehl both of Tampa and one great-grandson, Jayce D’Angiolill Janet was a loving, devoted wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. A celebration of Janet’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at First Church of Nazarene, 1616 59th St. W., Bradenton. Interment will take place at Manasota Memorial Park, Bradenton.

Monica A. Schmelzinger, 57, Bradenton, died June 17, 2014. Born in Buffalo, NY she moved to Bradenton in 1994 from Silver Spring, MD. She was H.R. Director for Tibbetts Lumber Co., LLC, she held a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and held a Masters of Voice from New England Conservatory.
Survived by daughter, Samantha Theobald of Atlanta, GA and parents, James & Theone Schmelzinger of Bradenton, FL.

Claudette M. La Belle passed peacefully with family at her bedside June 10 at 5:20 pm from natural causes, she was 83. Claudette loved the Lord Jesus and displayed the same mercy, generosity, kindness, forgiveness, joy and compassion to others as He teaches.
Claudette was predeceased by her 3 brothers, Ralph Miller, Chuck Mears and Andrew Mears; her sister, Janice Lawrence. She is survived by sisters, Earlynn Landers, Barbara Pahlke and Mary Reynolds. She is also survived by her 4 children, Robert La Belle, Roger La Belle, Paula Bailey and Cheryl Isaacs; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was dearly loved by all and delightful memories will continue to keep her in our hearts.
