This Week in Local Government: March 17-21, 2014
BRADENTON – The workshop preceding the Palmetto City Commission's regular meeting on Monday has been cancelled. At that meeting, the commission will vote on whether to approve an amendment to the city code of ordinances to establish a new personnel policy. The BOCC will hold a workshop on Tuesday that will focus on a CRA Update; Jobs Now/Workforce Training; and the Tax Abatement program. The Bradenton Planning Commission will workshop then have a regular meeting on Wednesday, and the Manatee Port Authority will discuss tariff changes when it convenes on Thursday.
