City Seeks Input for Ware’s Creek Land
BRADENTON –A public meeting has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday night to gather input on the possible creation of an environmental preserve on City-owned property located along Ware’s Creek in Bradenton.
The meeting will take place at the Ballard Elementary School auditorium, 912 18th St. W.
Ward 3 Councilman Patrick Roff and Planning Director Tim Polk will host the meeting. Councilman Roff described the potential environmental preserve as a public area with access to the creek for canoeing, kayaking, fishing or just enjoying open, green space along Ware’s Creek.
The land is across the creek from Ballard Elementary.
For more information, call Councilman Roff at 941-822-3482.
