Central Library to Host Hunger Games Party
BRADENTON – The Manatee County Central Library will host a special Hunger Games party for teens, featuring contests, refreshments, prizes, and crafts – all related to the popular series of books by Suzanne Collins about a dystopian future in which tributes are sacrificed in a vicious event that serves as entertainment for citizens of the capitol and a warning for everyone else.
Open to all, but targeted at teens ages 13-18, the event starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, in the Central Library Auditorium, located at 1301 Barcarrota Blvd. on the downtown Bradenton Riverfront.
Seating is free and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. No advance registration is required. For more information call 941-748-5555 ext. 6318.
