MLK Parade and Multicultural Festival in Palmetto Saturday

PALMETTO -- The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade returns to Palmetto this Saturday, January 18. The parade start time is noon. The parade will disembark from Lincoln Middle School, which is located at 305 17th Street East.

 

The Palmetto Central Redevelopment Agency will host a Multicultural Festival at Lincoln Park immediately following the parade. The event begins at 3 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. It will include free rides, entertainment, food and craft vendors.

 

Immediately following the parade, in conjunction with the City of Palmetto’s Multicultural Festival, the Palmetto Youth Center will host a Youth Extravaganza at Lincoln Park that will showcase the talent of our local youth.
