Movers and Shakers: Austin Boyd Joins Boyd Insurance
BRADENTON – Austin Boyd has joined Boyd Insurance & Investment Services as a commercial account executive.

His presence brings a third generation of the Boyd family to the company, which was founded in 1974 by Austin’s great-uncle, Wilbur. Jim Boyd, Austin’s father and a state representative, is currently co-owner of the company.
Austin Boyd says he looks forward to “continuing the Boyd family legacy” in the insurance field. “As a fifth-generation resident of Manatee County, I am passionate about this area,” Boyd said. “I look forward to working with a business community that I know and love.”
Boyd, 25, comes to Boyd Insurance from Global Financial Private Capital in Sarasota, where he worked for two years as a financial planner. He has a Bachelor of Science in risk management and insurance from Florida State University and is a graduate of Bradenton Christian School.
Boyd Insurance & Investment Services provides insurance for disability, life, health, retirement, term, and businesses, as well as estate planning, commercial real estate, retirement and investment services. The company writes more than $25 million in insurance premiums annually.
