Movers and Shakers: Judge Thomas Gallen Joins MCRH Board of Directors

BRADENTON – Judge Thomas Gallen has joined the Manatee County Rural Health Services Board of Directors. Judge Gallen is a Senior Circuit Court Judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit, where he previously served as a Circuit Judge from 1985-2002. He was the 12th district's Chief Judge from 1998-2002.
Judge Gallen also served as a member of the Florida Senate from 1972-1978, and as a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 1965-1972. He is a decorated veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret) unit.
Gallen was a member of the firm of Miller Gallen Kaklis and Venable Attorneys at Law, a general-practice law firm with emphasis in Real Property Litigation and Real Estate Law, from 1960-1985. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Florida State University.
