Lex Halakan's New Series Now Showing on Anna Maria

ANNA MARIA ISLAND – Anna Maria Island Resident Lex Halakan will show his new series, Sea & Sky, at Artspace Studios until March 15. Halakan, who is a resident artist at the gallery, has been exhibited in numerous national and international shows.
Sea & Sky is the award-winning artist's newest collection. The style for his oils on board work incorporates distinctive brush strokes and finger painting.
On his website, Halakan reflects, “The combination of memory, imagination and pure enjoyment generate my perceptions of nature.” He goes on to say, “It is my goal for the viewer of my work to recognize a place where the unusual and the anticipated are shared.”
Artspace Studios and Gallery located in Bayview Plaza near the Anna Maria City Pier. Visitors are welcome Tuesdays through Saturdays 11:00-5:00. Stop in Thursdays and Saturdays to visit with Lex in his studio and view more of his work.
