Olde Fashioned Christmas Returns to Village of the Arts Tonight
BRADENTON – It's that time again! An Olde Fashioned Christmas at The Village of the Arts in Bradenton returns this weekend as part of the monthly ArtWalk series. You can stroll through the quaint confines of the Gulf Coast's Largest Art Community, featuring over 35 galleries and 5 restaurants in colorful restored vintage cottages, all decked out in Christmas splendor for this family-friendly annual event.
An Olde Fashioned Christmas takes place Friday, Dec. 7., from 6-9:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 8, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Enjoy a stroll through this quaint village festooned with holiday lights to the sounds of Christmas Carolers and the Barber Shop Quartet.

Enjoy a visit with Santa and special holiday treats and sugar plums and a Christmas Tea Room at restaurants throughout the Village. Special displays of antique quilts, toys, dolls and vintage holiday fashions by Retro Rosie, plus Village artists will be displaying their latest one-of-a-kind creations for your holiday shopping pleasure.
The 12th Annual Lighting of the Village will take place at 6 p.m. Friday. Located 4 blocks south of Manatee Ave. between 9th. St. West & 14th. St. West, the event is put on by the Artists Guild of Manatee. Visit www.villageofthearts.com, more info.
