Manatee County Government Announces Thanksgiving Closures
MANATEE COUNTY – Below is a listing of Thanksgiving holiday closures across Manatee County Government.
County Government offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
Thanksgiving trash collections will be made Friday, Nov. 23 and Friday's collections will be made Saturday, Nov. 24.
Central, Island, Rocky Bluff libraries will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 21. All libraries will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 through Saturday, Nov. 24.
Fixed route, Handy Bus service and the Longboat Key Trolley will be suspended on Thursday, Nov. 22, and will resume on Friday, Nov. 23. The Anna Maria Island Trolley and Beach Express will continue normal routes on Thursday and Friday.
G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
Manatee County’s passive parks, beaches and preserves will remain open throughout the holidays.
