Manatee County's FY13 Adopted Budget Book Now Available
MANATEE COUNTY – Manatee County's budget process begins in May/June when the County Administrator delivers a Recommended Budget to the Board of County Commissioners.
Once the Property Appraiser has finalized tax rolls by July 1, the Board receives a Proposed Budget which has up-to-date tax information and any changes from the earlier Recommended Budget.
Two public hearings are held in September before the Board approves the Adopted Budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1. The FY13 Adopted Budget Book is available here (PDF, 7966 KB). For more budget documents, visit the county's budget download page.
