Photo Gallery: Riverwalk Grand Opening

BRADENTON – Thousands came out on Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of Bradenton's new Riverwalk, the $6 million-plus riverfront renovation project. The event included the dedication of a new first responders memorial, the opening of the new skate park, amphitheater and pavilion. Mayor Wayne Poston called it a dream come true, before cutting the 800-foot ribbon with a pair of oversized scissors.
