Charles Williams, Jr. organized a football league at Palmetto’s Youth Center and became the team coach voluntarily for seven years. He is running for Manatee County Supervisor of Elections with the slogan, “Ready, relevant, resourceful, reliable.”
Founder and Pastor of the King of Kings Baptist Church, Williams is a member of the Board of Directors at Oasis Charter School, Manatee County NAACP and Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC).
With his degrees, he served as Mount Raymond Full Gospel Baptist Church’s Youth Pastor and additionally displayed his passion for a younger generation by aiding the establishment of the Peter Warrick Foundation. The charity supports development programs and raises scholarship money for inner city Florida youths.
Williams has been married to his wife Joann for 16 years, and they have a family of three children and six grandchildren.
