County Website Offering Interactive Flood Evacuation Tools

BRADENTON – New, up-to-date flood evacuation maps can help keep you and your family safe during a storm. Manatee County has now provided a way to easily find your home and property on new interactive maps to see whether you're in a vulnerable area that needs to be evacuated early when serious storms are threatening.
The county's GIS Interactive map allows users to search their address and find their assigned zone. There are also PDF files of evacuation zones and routes at the site. Manatee County is urging all residents to use the tool to help them prepare to be able to safely and efficiently evacuate their family in the event of such an emergency.
