SARASOTA--Sarasota Crew will hold its fourth annual Ergathon Fundraiser in front of Whole Foods Market, downtown Sarasota on Sunday, February 6th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sarasota Crew’s One hundred and eighty team members will be attempting to break three Guinness World Records while Erging on stationary rowing machines to raise money for equipment and scholarships.

During their attempt, Sarasota Crew will also sponsor an All Faith’s Food Drive. Rowers have spent the past three weeks collecting food donations at its crew site located at Bay Preserve in Osprey.

The Guinness World Records requires two witnesses supervise and document the attempt. These individuals must be unaffiliated parties, eliminating parents of rowers and the coaches. Anyone interested in being a witness please call Maureen Borden at 941-921-0056. There will be a morning and afternoon shift.

There will be a boat display, information on youth and adult rowing with Sarasota Crew, and free drawings for gift cards donated by Whole Foods Market and Michael’s on East. For more information on Sarasota Crew please visit www.sarasotacrew.com or call 941-966-9791.
