Hands Across the Sand Event
Hundreds gathered in protest at Bradenton Beach yesterday as part of the largest global gathering in history to oppose offshore drilling. The Hands Across the Sand event was part of a world-wide effort to stop the dependence on oil and promote renewable energy. There were a total of 901 separate demonstrations globally.
