We are a news and community resource web site. Much like a newspaper that has news reporters we have news reporters. Our focus is local news. What is the benefit of advertising over the printed newspaper?
The web advertiser has a more powerful tool to reach customers and determine results from their ads. Our goal is to help you as a business reach the full potential of the marketing on the web. A paper product cannot inform you on how many people viewed your ad or clicked on it for more information. It also does not have search capabilities to find products such as coupons that are a section on our site to benefit both the viewer and business.
We can meet any advertising budget.. Check out our advertising menu for more information. I am sure we have the right product for your business and best of all unlike theprint advertising, we will be able to give you a report as to your views.
Delivering news is not free. By advertising locally your money stays within your community and is not sent to another State. Please support a local business and advertise with us.
Can I submit content (opinions, articles, etc.)?
We will cover the news ourselves, but also invite you to be a contributing writer. Our area is filled with all kinds of people with more experience than most reporters, so contact us to let us know what you may want to submit.
What is your News Article comments policy?
Similar to our Blog policy, we will not have the comments that have personal attacks that lack the rules of civility.
We instead invite constructive comments to share opinions and facts. We will post the full name of the person submitting the comments to insure there is no hiding behind a screen name. Just like a conversation that you have when you meet someone, it is just proper we all know who is commenting. Please share comments just as you would if in person.
If someone abuses this by submitting a false identity we will prosecute and as a violation of our policies we will be seeking damages of no less than $10,000. We are serious about insuring information is factual and that starts with holding everyone accountable for submissions.
Our comments are moderated. Comments will be posted once approved.

Why will there not be a printed product?
The newspaper product is in a state of meltdown. Over half the people do not receive a newspaper. We will try our best to have a print on demand news product that eliminates printing one story at a time, but we do not plan on printing a newspaper.
There is something inaccurate in one of the items on the website. How can I have it corrected?
At The Bradenton Times our goal is to provide community news and event information that is factual and accurate. If you believe there is an item that is incorrect posted on our website, please contact us directly at: 941-896-7857 or via our Contact Us form.
How can I add my own comments to The Bradenton Times news articles?
One of the primary goals of The Bradenton Times is to be a community voice for Bradenton and Manatee County. One way we do this is to provide our readers the opportunity to comment on our news articles.
At the bottom of most of The Bradenton Times news articles, you will see the text link:

Click on this link and you will be presented with the comment section.

- Your first and last name should go in the "Your Full Name:" section.
