The Anna Maria Island Democratic Club will meet for lunch at the Beach House Restaurant, 200 Gulf Drive North, Bradenton Beach. Everyone is welcome. Reservations are not required. Lunch is 12 dollars for members and 15 dollars for guests.

John R. Chappie, Manatee County Commissioner, District 3.
Commissioner Chappie is a long time resident of Bradenton Beach where he has lived for over 34 years and where he has served as Mayor. Commissioner Chappie will discuss issues the Manatee County Commission will be addressing in the coming year.
Michael S. Bennett, Supervisor of Elections, Manatee County.
Mr. Bennett represented Manatee County voters in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000-2002 and in the Florida State Senate from 2002-2012. He was elected Supervisor of Elections for Manatee County in 2012. Supervisor Bennett will discuss changes being considered at the State and County levels to improve voting procedures.
