Manatee NAACP Branch Holds Annual MLK Commemorative Breakfast

Please join the Manatee County NAACP Branch membership in commemorating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at our MLK Commemorative Breakfast on Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., 13^th Avenue Dream Center, 922 24^th Street East, Bradenton, FL 34208. Our speaker will be Dr. Manuel L. Sykes, President of the Pinellas County NAACP.

This event is one of two fundraisers the Branch holds each year to raise funds to support the fight for equality and justice at the local level. The branch utilizes these funds to support scholarships to graduating seniors from various high schools in Manatee County; support students and programs at G.D. Rogers Garden Elementary School; support the local work of the branch and the State NAACP Conference, to name a free.
