Island Branch Library Program: Emerson Point Preserve

The Friends of the Island Branch Library are pleased to welcome Melissa Cain Nell to the Library on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 starting at 2:00 p.m. 

The Manager of the Manatee County Natural Resource Department Education/Volunteer Division will present a fascinating, visually-lush program about Manatee County's Emerson Point Preserve. 

The program, which is part of the Alice Taylor Reed Lecture and Travel Series, is FREE and seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. No prior registration is necessary. 

Special programs such as this are made possible by funds generously provided by the Friends. The Friends are a support organization for Manatee County’s Island Branch Library. Monies raised by the Friends go toward programs and services that tax dollars alone cannot provide.
