South Manatee Library Alzheimer’s Program Series: "The Basics of Alzheimer's Disease"

The South Manatee Branch Library is pleased to welcome Sue Fox to the library for a four-month series of programs on Alzheimer's disease starting in January.
Fox, a representative of the Sarasota Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will present the following programs (all of which run from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.)
· Thursday, January 24, 2013: "The Basics of Alzheimer's Disease."
· Wednesday, February 13, 2013: "Managing Challenging Behaviors."
· Wednesday, March 27, 2013: "Driving & Dementia" What are the Risks?"
· Wednesday, April 17, 2013: "Activities for Persons with Dementia."
The seventh leading cause of death, over five million Americans suffer from this terrible disease--at an annual cost of some $170 billion.
