Manatee Government Offices Closed for MLK Day

Manatee County Government offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Trash and recycling pickup schedules will continue as normal next week.
Manatee County Area Transit and the Anna Maria Island Trolley will operate normal daily routes.
Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public. Manatee County and Buffalo Creek Golf Courses will be open. The Fitness Center and Teen Room at G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed but G.T. Bray Skate Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Central Library, the only county library normally open on Mondays, will be closed Jan. 21 and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22. All of Manatee County's branch libraries operate Tuesday through Saturday and are therefore not affected by the Monday closure.
Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves will remain open.
