The Junior League of Manatee County's annual festive fundraiser, Beertopia, will have a new twist this year - one that will raise funds to help Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT) feed our homeless children on weekends.
In addition to all the other fun, paintings by four renowned artists will be sold with the proceeds going to FELT. This year's Beertopia will be held Saturday from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing.
Beertopia is a fun-filled evening of beer tastings from around the world, tasty foods from area restaurants, music and dancing. There also will be a silent auction for great bargains, such as getaways and vacations.
In addition, there will be the sale of the four coveted paintings by well-known artists Ann Abgott, Linda Van Tassel, Donna McIntyre - with all proceeds going to FELT.
