Date: January 16, 2013Time: 10:30 am
4915 53rd Avenue East
The Friends of the Braden River Branch Library are pleased to welcome playwright and performer Steve Carroll, who will present a fascinating one-man play on Saturday, February 16, 2013 starting at 10:30 a.m.
Carroll portrays the title character in "Charles Lindbergh: the Lone Eagle," a biographical play he has written about the famed aviator. In the play, Lindbergh has returned from the grave to set the record straight about his life: the audience learns of his early days as a barnstormer, his flight to Paris, his son's kidnapping and more. It concludes with Lindbergh’s final days as a renowned environmentalist.
Playwright Steve Carroll has appeared in dozens of plays in New York City, having worked in theatre for over 40 years.
Light refreshments will be served starting at 10:00 a.m., and the Friends will hold their Annual Meeting immediately prior to the program.
Seating for this free program will be available on a first come, first serve basis. No registration is necessary.
