Anytime Fitness in Parrish to Host a Tough Hero Competition

Anytime Fitness in Parrish is hosting a Tough Hero Competition on Saturday, November 10^th, 2012 at 10:00 AM. The Tough Hero is the largest national gym competition to benefit military families and Active Heroes; a military charity, and is held all across America. 

You can be a HERO and help military families in need by competing in one or more of 4 categories - push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups and weight lifting - in the Tough Hero Competition. There are men and women divisions and age brackets to keep the competition fair and fun. You can sign-up to compete in 1, 2, 3 or all 4 events! Winners get prizes and free memberships and will be featured on social media to thousands.

Each registration is used to help a military family through Active Heroes. Active Heroes supports a broad range of needs. This includes helping with financial issues such as mortgage, car payments, electricity bills, or water bills. Active Heroes also helps with special needs for military children including those with fallen parents, travel assistance for military families including vehicles for disabled veterans, job referral services for unemployed veterans and business attire for unemployed veterans while job searching.
