8:30am Coffee and Donuts Begin to receive children’s books “Just 1 Book” and peanut butter and jelly (Food Pantry)
8:45am Display Kiwanis Club and Key Club Banners for all clubs in Manatee County (Division 17)
9:00am Begin forming packing lines for KIWANIS AGAINST HUNGER program ( 4 lines)
9:30am Group photos and local media access
10:00am Club President and Secretaries meet with Governor Allen Whetsell
11:30am Complete packaging of Kiwanis Against Hunger program
11:30am Begin Lunch Service ($8.00)
12:00 Governor Allen Whetsell address to Division 17, Division Council Meeting

All Kiwanis Clubs are participating in the packing event within Division 17. 100% participation!
West Bradenton is coordinating the collection of the Books for JUST 1 BOOK
Division 17 Key Club is coordinating the collection of Peanut Butter and Jelly for the Food Pantry
Bradenton Downtown Club is hosting the event at their hall
Manatee Sunrise is setting up the "Kids Against Hunger" packing lines and acquiring the products for packing

What is Kiwanis Against Hunger? It is a nonprofit organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children that are starving throughout the world. This is being achieved by getting volunteers involved, and by setting up food packaging satellites in Florida, and throughout the world. Kids Against Hunger delivers its specially formulated rice-soy casserole to starving children and their families. The Kiwanis Against Hunger website, is owned by the Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Club.
