Sarasota, FL – Nights at the Eat Here rooftop bar are heating up with Twinkle performing live each Friday evening.
Florida born, International recording artist Schascle “Twinkle” Yochim signed with Warner Bros. in 1990, recording her first album, Haunted by Real Life. Her voice has been touted as having the soul of Aretha Franklin and the passion of Janis Joplin. She was launched into worldwide critical acclaim following her performance in the Montreux Jazz Festival, where she was accompanied by Eric Clapton’s Band, under the direction of Quincy Jones. She’s been touring ever since and will be performing every Friday evening at Eat Here, beginning April 27 at 8:30 p.m.
“We like to call ourselves a ‘Rock and Soul band’.” Tony LeClerc, bass guitar player and backup vocalist for Twinkle told us. “However, when Twinks is not lookin’, we tend to get a little rowdy!”
Eat Here SRQ Event Schedule Highlights:
Thursdays: Girls' Night Out from 5-9 p.m.
Fridays: Twinkle! 8:30-11 p.m. (Beginning April 27)
Saturdays: Pedro Arevalo and Friends perform an eclectic fusion of folk, ragtime, jazz, delta blues, country, rock ‘n’ roll, Latin and Caribbean beats. The music begins at 8 p.m.
Daily: Happier Hour and a Half with free pizza from 5-6:30 p.m. (downstairs bar)
