Manatee Players: Robin Givens' New Play-- Joy in the Morning

Television, film and stage star Robin Givens' ties to Bradenton go back a couple of decades. So, it makes sense that Ms. Givens has chosen to direct and present her 'play with music', Joy in the Morning, on Manatee Players' stage the evenings of August 2 & 3.
The play features some favorite actors from past Manatee Players productions including Krissy Pizzo, Mark Shoemaker, Eve Caballero and Laurie Zimmerman, who are backed by an ensemble of performers who both sing and create vignettes that propel the story forward.
Tickets are priced at $50 for the first 4 rows in the theater and include an intimate "talkback" with the lovely and talented Ms. Givens after the performance. All other seats are $26.
