South Manatee Library Book Discussion Group Meeting Series
Date: July 27, 2012Time: 10:00 am
6081 26th Street West
Bradenton, FL
The Friends of the South Manatee Branch Library are pleased to announce their “Author Who....” series book discussion group meetings, to be held in the library's meeting room on the fourth Friday each month starting at 10:00 a.m.
This is a monthly program for people who enjoy the works of popular authors. The Friends will lead a presentation regarding the interesting, curious, and sometimes-remarkable facts about the author, followed by an engaging group discussion!
In July and August, rather than discuss the work of a specific author, readers are encouraged to share their thoughts on their current reading. The schedule of book discussions is as follows:
· Wallace Stegner on Friday, May 25
· Mary Doria Russell on Friday, June 22
· “Readers Choice” on July 27
· “Readers Choice” on August 24
The FREE book discussion group is open to everyone, with seating available on a first come, first serve basis.
Special programs such as this are made possible by funds generously provided by the Friends of the Library. The Friends are a support organization for Manatee County’s South Manatee Branch Library. Monies raised by the Friends go toward programs and services that tax dollars alone cannot provide.
