Manatee GOP Meeting: Rex Jensen discusses "Virtues of Capitalism"

~ Rex Jensen to discuss capitalism, local economic development initiatives and why elections matter with Manatee GOP on Monday ~
Manatee County, FL. – Mr. Rex E. Jensen, President and Chief executive Officer of Schroeder-Manatee Ranch (SMR) Inc., ‘Virtues of Capitalism Award’ recipient and overseer of Florida’s fastest selling fully integrated master-planned community, Lakewood Ranch, will share his insight with the Republican Party of Manatee County on Monday June 25, 2012.
As CEO, Mr. Jensen has been a pro-active leader in promoting smart growth and green building and is responsible for all the businesses of SMR, including agricultural operations, aggregate mining, real estate development and land-holding on 30,000 acres in Manatee and Sarasota Counties.
Manatee GOP Chairman Kathleen King is looking forward to Mr. Jensen’s presentation and expects him “to address the flawed policy of government coercion, the problems associated with increasing taxation and government regulation, and, their negative impacts on business and culture.”
Manatee Clerk of Court R.B. Chips Shore will also address the GOP, as will Manatee County Sheriff candidates Bill Waldron and W. Brad Steube and Supervisor of Elections candidates Edward Bailey, Richard Bedford, Mike Bennett and Jane von Hahmann.
The Republican Party of Manatee County meets at 7:00 p.m. at the Bradenton Women’s Club located at 1705 Manatee Avenue West.
