TEEN HEALTH CLINIC
This Teen Wellness Clinic was established out of a need to increase
services and reduce pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases in
Manatee County teens. We have developed this Clinic to be a source of
education to empower teens to take more responsibility for their health.
This clinic is designed to be a place for teens to feel secure and
provide them with the resources to learn about their health and issues
that directly affect them. Our goal for this program is to be able to
reach teens at an early age to provide them with a foundation of
knowledge to protect them from pregnancy and disease.
Medical and educational services are provided in a confidential
manner. They are, but not limited to; Free Condoms, education, free HIV
testing, birth Control Methods, pregnancy Testing, female/male exams,
STD testing and treatment. All services are provided to teens are low
cost to no cost at all, based on income.
