The Bradenton Times Polls

Poll Question: Do you think that when a drunk driver injures or kills a passenger who is also inebriated and willingly got into the car knowing the driver's state, it should be viewed the same as if they killed or injured a sober motorist or pedestrian who was not in their vehicle, in terms of their sentencing?

Yes, either way their choice and action caused death or injury  No, they should still be punished but some of the responsibility lies with the person who chose to get in the car More polls »

Bradenton, Fl
Contact: Linda LutzPhone: (941) 746-2121, extension 568

In an effort to showcase the private school alternatives available to the families of east Manatee and Sarasota counties, Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School has once again teamed up with The Out-of-Door Academy and the Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Corporation to host a Private School Fair for the families in Lakewood Ranch and its surrounding area.  The Fair will take place at the Fete Catering and Ballroom Polo Grill on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.  The Polo Grill is located at 10670 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch, 34202.  Representatives from private schools in Manatee and Sarasota counties will be on site for one-on-one informal conversations.  Light refreshments will be served.  The fair will run from 5:00 to 7:30pm.

According to Saint Stephen’s Head of School, Jan Pullen, “We feel that this Fair is of great service to the residents of Lakewood Ranch and other east county developments.  Many families move to the area from out of state and are not aware of the abundance of private school options.  We are blessed to be at a point in our community where parents have a wide range of choices for their child’s education.”

The following private schools will be represented at the Fair:

Manatee County

Sarasota County

Bradenton Christian School

Cardinal Mooney High School

Kiddie Academy

Dreams Are Free
