Every Saturday from 9AM to 1PM, the Bradenton Downtown Farmers’ Market offers fresh organic produce, food, plants, flowers, and more. Several blocks of Main Street, just south of the riverfront marina, are closed to traffic to accommodate the market, a street food and art fair where growers, bakers, and artists offer their locally produced goods.
Each week the Farmers’ Market offers healthy choices of fresh produce, live local music, green themed goods, and original creations by local artists and craftsman. The market has become a community gathering place, where shoppers greet one another and vendors call each other by name.
Downtown parking is free on weekends, and dogs on leashes are welcome. The Bradenton Downtown Farmers’ Market supports local farmers, growers, and businesses. The market’s major sponsor is the Bradenton Downtown Development Authority, and coordinator is Realize Bradenton.
