4TH ANNUAL “GULF COAST RHYTHM & RIBFEST” APRIL 9TH – 11TH AT THE MANATEE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS IN PALMETTO, FL
What: Bright House Networks presents the 4th Annual “Gulf Coast Rhythm & Ribfest”. Gulf Coast Rhythm & Ribfest features award winning Rib Teams from across the nation and amazing entertainment with the best local bands, regional, and national recording artists. “Greatest Ribs in America”, “Golden Ribs Award”, “Best Sauce in the Nation” and numerous “People’s Choice Awards” are just a few of the Titles and Awards, the attending Rib Teams share amongst them. Last year’s winners of the “Best Ribs” and “Best Sauce” Awards will attend again and are ready to defend their titles. With attendance doubling each year, Rhythm & Ribfest is fast becoming one of the most exciting and anticipated events each year on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Who: Confirmed artist include Country music’s rising star David Nail performing his recent Top 10 hit “Red Light” along with other great tunes off of his debut album “I’m about to come alive”; Smooth Jazz Saxophonist Eric Darius who has produced several Top Ten Hits including “Goin’ All Out” which climbed to #1 on the Billboard/R&R Charts for several weeks in 2009, and R&B crooner Ginuwine who’s latest hit “Last Chance” peaked at #4. Local artist names will be released soon. Don’t miss our BIG announcement on February 28th as we reveal our 2010 Festival Headliner. This Legendary, Grammy Award Winning Music Icon will be a must see at this year’s Rhythm & Ribfest!

“A Party with a Purpose” - Gulf Coast Rhythm & Rib fest 2010 is a major annual fundraising event benefiting United Community Centers, Inc. who has provided educational, social and recreational programs to thousands of low income At-risk youth throughout Manatee County since its inception in 1937. The Community Centers located throughout Manatee County Florida have helped disadvantaged youth find healthy solutions to the problems of poverty, drugs, crime, teen pregnancy and low self-esteem. United Community Centers, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization and all or a portion of contributions are tax-deductible.
