Friends of Palmetto Library Discussion Group

The Friends of the Palmetto Branch Library are pleased to announce the lineup of titles for their 2012-2013 Book Discussion Group. The group meets in the library's meeting room on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. 

This is a monthly program for people who enjoy the works of popular authors. Although the focus of each month’s meeting will generally be on a single specific title, the discussion is always open to other works by that book’s author.

The book discussion group is free of charge and open to everyone, with seating available on a first come, first serve basis. 

Special programs such as this are made possible by funds generously provided by the Friends of the Library. The Friends are a support organization for Manatee County’s Palmetto Branch Library. Monies raised by the Friends go toward programs and services that tax dollars alone cannot provide.
