The floridacentral Credit Union celebrated a ground breaking on Tuesday, April 6th for its new Bradenton Branch at 701 9th Street, West. Ken Clanton of Wagner’s Commercial Division sold the parcel to floridacentral for $955,000 and was present at the ceremony.
Laida Garcia, President/CEO and Brian Robinson, VP/CMO were on hand to cut the ribbon and welcome dignitaries Bob Bartz, President of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, Sydney Gruters, Field Representative for Congressman Vern Buchanan and Bob Turner, President & Publisher of the Bradenton Herald and others.
The new 4,200 square foot facility will be conveniently located in the heart of Bradenton’s downtown area, and is expected to open for business in August. It replaces the current 5th Street West branch with a spacious state-of-the-art facility featuring an ATM, three drive through lanes and the latest in advanced technology to deliver the best in financial products and services to its 39,000 members and select businesses.
Headquartered in Tampa, floridacentral Credit Union was established in 1958 and operates nine branches on the west coast of Florida.
