Events Posting Policy and Pricing
The most comprehensive Events Calendar in Manatee County
The Events Calendar of The Bradenton Times is provided as a service to the community with the primary purpose of informing the public about local events such as government meetings, community services, free trainings, classes and more. Our goal is to be a comprehensive listing of all the events going on in the Bradenton and Manatee area.
Effective January 18th, 2010 our fee policy for posting events is as follows:
No Charge / Non-Commercial Postings

For non-commercial events we do not charge for posting events to the calendar. This is mainly for government and nonprofit organizations.

A commercial business is holding a fund-raiser or special event to help a nonprofit or government entity will be posted at no charge.

Live music locations can be posted without charge for standing events on regularly recurring days. To link to the venue's site or highlight a specific band or event we charge for the posting.
Charges for Commercial Postings
A commercial business (with the exception to our live music policy above) shall be charged as follows:

$10 for a one time event to be posted

$100 per month for linking to a business web site and providing a unique headline for the event. For example: A standing event of "Live Music at Mattison's" each Friday would not be charged. However to include "Billy Rice Band at Mattison's" there would be a charge of $10 or included in the $100 per month charge.

$25 per Weekly Recap (our emailed news publication) highlighted event listing that is linked to a website.
We reserve the right to post special events at no charge will consider complementary posting on a case by case basis, so please submit the event for consideration. We will contact you regarding the eligibility of the event to be posted as a free event.
